Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa is depicted in this painting in a ‘Picasso-esk’ cubistic fashion.
The message of this painting is a lighthearted critique of today’s Pop Art, where slapping brands on whatever item suddenly makes it an artpiece. Mona Lisa, one of the world’s most iconic paintings, fears she might have gone out of style and asks how she can be trendy again. The answer: Just slap some brands on there! Whatever brand this might be doesn’t matter, as long as it’s an expensive one.
All paintings I make are one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces. Although this webshop offers the option to purchase more than one of the same item, this is NOT POSSIBLE. Please make sure that when placing an order, the amount displayed right under the title of the artwork on the check-out page is 1.
Spazz
I am Spazz, a painter from the Netherlands. My paintings are bold, bright, colorful, and often with a healthy dose of humor. I'm all about having a positive outlook on life, while not ignoring the problems we face as inhabitants of this world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Through my work, I like to express my thoughts and feelings about life and the world. I like to put a smile on people's faces and a thought in people's heads. Preferably in the most colorful way.
